Thank goodness for the media!
Last month it was reported Republican Senator Paul Stanley was having an affair with his 22 year old intern. He denied everything of course and said he would be clearing up all misconceptions in a short while.
Here’s the irony. He resigned and he said he was the victim!
Is this guy for real?
He is married, has 2 kids and teaches Sunday School. And he is very much opposed to sex outside of marriage and of course infidelity.
As the details emerged about the investigation, court documents showed he had admitted to the affair to investigators and acknowledged taking explicit photos of the intern McKensie Morrison in his Nashville apartment. Prosecutors issued a statement saying he was not restricted from discussing the case, even though Sen. Stanley said he was restricted in talking. He resigned today!
On top of that, Mr Stanley tried to blame Morrison by suggesting that the intern might face charges for extortion. But the only person the authorities have charged in the extortion case is Joel Watts, Ms. Morrison’s boyfriend.
What a web these SOB’s weave!
A longtime Republican consultant in Tennessee, Tom Ingram said all public officials risk the same scorn if they advocate one set of standards while acting under another set. “Every public official espouses morality, just like every preacher does,” Ingram said. “And the higher standards you set for yourself and others, if you violate those along the way, you’re going to pay a higher price because you got caught in your own web.”
Hypocrisy!!!! I hope you rot in hell Mr Stanley!
